I'm really into the Pacific battles of WWII right now. I've a friend over here who served then and they are having a reunion of the last surviving members in a few months and I've been invited to go. I've been doing a lot of reading. Do you know of any wargame blogs that cover the Pacific?
Skullcrafts is another option. They produce some awesome stuff. I placed my order a week ago and it's gotta head across the atlantic, so i'll let you know what it is like when it arrives.
Yup bud, been following SC since they launched. They are USA, of course (postal costs), and my LFGS does not stock them, but, they can send me a few samples, if they wish, for review ;). Please let us know how your purchase goes.
@N,
No problem mate, I can do the tufts quickly, from reviews I have seen and what I have in front of me. AP ... great range, good price for the amount and the most convincing. GW ... small range, too consistent (and twinkly, but that could just be their over-lighting, in the store), for my liking and too costly. BC ... just developing these lines (YouTube them), the tufts are almost certainly, 'Army Painter' (or their supplier), cut into smaller strips, at a cheaper price - which is exactly what I wanted, for review and testing (particularly the 'mix' which I purchased) ... for bigger jobs, well, then the cost would soon add up.
There are other ranges, mainly from mainland Europe, Noch etc (see Ebay).
Thanks mate! I´ve seen other brands before, like Noch, the army painter and such, but BC... never heard about it before. It´s a shame their website is down now xD
